Transformers 3 is taking its subtitle, Dark of the Moon, seriously, with most of its filming this week scheduled for nighttime. But that doesn't mean there won't be anything to see. Lt. David Hollinger, of D.C. Fire and EMS, is currently on set downtown, working on pyrotechnics permits for tonight's shoot. When I called him on his cell phone, he said he was dealing with the paperwork as we spoke. He was too busy to talk further, so that's all I have at the moment. I'll post updates when I know more.

Then again, what more do you need to know besides EXPLOSIONS TONIGHT? It's not like any of us are craning our necks to glimpse Shia LaBeouf's refined acting skills.
