At last night's gala opening for the WPA's Catalyst, art band Beat Freaks — comprised of performance artist Kathryn Cornelius and artist/curator/critic Jeffry Cudlin — made their debut. And before a crowd of folks who paid $150 to go to an art party, they gently mocked the people who go to art parties.
