Wolf Trap just announced, via Facebook, a "worst gifts" contest: post stories, photos, and/or video of the worst holiday gift you've ever received, and get a shot at a $200 gift certificate, good for food, merchandise, and tickets to Wolf Trap shows.

Winners will be announced Monday, Dec. 20. So far, Joshua Murray, recipient of one Flowbee pet grooming kit, is the man to beat.

Do you remember the Flowbee? That vacuum sucking hair cutting contraption conceived, born, and raised in Hell? Did you know they made one for dogs? I didn't either until I got one for Christmas one year. I didn't own a dog.

Also in the running: a Homer Simpson Chia Pet, a rug cleaner, and a troll doll dressed in a ballerina costume.
