In yesterday's news: D.C. grindcore band Magrudergrind inks deal with Toyota record label Scion Audio/Visual and gets pummeled by the metal authenticity police. Metalsucks.net editor Axl Rosenberg says "If you stray even a little bit from the code, or, maybe more accurately, are perceived as having strayed from the code, there’s a portion of the community that will crucify you.” (Washington City Paper)
