Apparently, hip-hop fans are still obsessed with the short-lived, not-very-interesting beef between rappers Wale and Kid Cudi that unfolded back in September. Upset that Wale had referenced an incident where Cudi allegedly punched a fan in the face in one of his rhymes, Cudi went after the DMV rapper in an interview with Complex magazine late last year. Wale mostly kept silent about the slight, but some of his fans thought he should've barked back.
Wale finally unloaded on Cudi last week, lobbing insults via Twitter, but it turns out that it wasn't actually Wale. The rapper claims someone hacked his Twitter account, seemingly for the sole purpose of attacking Cudi.
Tweets from Wale's account (that have since been deleted), included: "the rumors are true... @wizardcud is a satanic cokehead devil worshiper who sold his soul." (After taking a Twitter hiatus, Cudi returned last week to begin promoting an upcoming project. His new account, @wizardcud, isn't verified yet, but MTV confirmed that Cudi is indeed behind the handle.)
Wale fans picked up on the fact that the tweets sounded way too corny to be from the rapper himself, and eventually, it wasrevealed that his account was indeed "compromised," as Joe Budden put it. Cudi, for his part, never responded to the taunts.
im back....sorry twitter...that hacker was genorous...thnk u to the good people at twitter ..
