Elevator Fight, fronted by Zoe Kravitz, is at Black Cat this month. (publicity photo)

Why is it that if, say, a shoemaker's kid grows up to become a shoemaker, it's really cute, but if a rock star's kid eventually becomes a rock star, it's slightly obnoxious? Tabi Bonney, June 18 at the Georgetown Apple Store(free)

Stephen Marley, July 14 at 9:30 Club

Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley is headlining Rock the Bells 2011, but the annual hip-hop tour isn't coming to the D.C. area this year. But, another son of Bob Marley is giving a show in town. No, not Ziggy--Stephen! He's promoting his latest album, Revelation Part 1: The Root of Life.

Enrique Iglesias, September 27 at the Patriot Center

Julio Iglesias' son bailed on one of the best gigs in music this year—opening up for Britney Spears on her "Femme Fatale" tour—and instead decided to schedule his own tour, with rapper Pitbull.

Arlo Guthrie, August 6 at Wolf Trap and Roseanne Cash, July 2 at Birchmere

The daughter of Johnny Cash and the son of Woody Guthrie are established musicians who've escaped the shadow of their respective fathers. Pay attention, Zoe!
