Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. tour comes to town next month

Secure the green rooms: Chris Brown is coming to D.C. next month. The embattled R&B star brings his F.A.M.E tour to the Verizon Center on September 17 at 7 p.m. Although the guy's personal life has been extremely tumultuous over the last few years, his legions of supporters (AKA "Team Breezy") have helped him stage career comeback after career comeback.

Brown’s fourth studio album F.A.M.E., released in March, sold 271,000 copies its first week out, and in July he brought 18,000 fans to NYC's Rockefeller Plaza for the Today Show Concert Series—making his the best attended performance in the history of the free morning concerts.

Tickets for his September show go on sale Monday, August August 15 at 10:00 a.m., via all of the usual Ticketmaster outlets.
