Foo Fighters are coming to town this fall, and they will not be playing in a local garage—instead they will play the Verizon Center on November 11, with Social Distortion and The Joy Formidable.

NoVa native Dave Grohl and Co. are touring in support of their most recent album, Wasting Light, which includes a song about the not-quite-Alexandria, not-quite-Arlington local neighborhood of Arlandria.

Tickets for the show are $37.50 - 57.50 and go on sale this Friday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are available through all Ticketmaster outlets (including the Verizon Center box office and online.
