Today only: Cheap tickets to see Beatles tribute bands!

- A high-quality camera-phone pic from last year's AROTR.
Last August, Abbey Road on the River, a FIVE-day celebration of the Beatles, came to the area for the first time. Fab Four enthusiasts filed the National Harbor to see films about the Beatles, attend lectures on the Beatles, and listen to a whole slew of interesting Beatles tribute bands (including the Beatles-inspired reggae act Yellow Dubmarine). Rahm Emanuel was there! And the former White House chief of staff/current mayor of Chicago appeared to have a great time!
The festival returns to National Harbor next month, September 1-5, and this year's line-up of bands is even more extensive than last year's. While the festival offers a whole lot of fun, tickets aren't exactly cheap. But today's Living Social 'Deal of the Day' offers admission for two for just $39 (regularly, two tickets would set you back $80).
