THURSDAY-SUNDAY: Mose Allison at Blues Alley

The blues/jazz pianist/composer, who has been covered by everyone from the Who to the Bangles, is currently promoting his most recent album, 2010's The Way of the World. Thursday through Sunday, two shows (8 p.m. and 10 p.m.) each night. $25.

TUESDAY: Vieux Farka Touré at the 9:30 Club

Vieux Farka Touré is the son of one of the greatest guitarists of all time—Malian musical genius Ali Farka Touré, who passed away in 2006. But the younger musician has earned his own sweet title: "The Hendrix of the Sahara." 7 p.m. doors, $25.

THURSDAY-MONDAY: Abbey Road on the River at National Harbor

Five days of Beatles cover bands in various flavors, plus films, talks, vendors, and other activities for those with an appreciation of all things Fab Four: $35-199.95.
