Always wanted to be a starving street artist? ArtJamz presents Paint in the Park: Farragut Square. Every Thursday from now until June, be inspired by live music, the outdoors and the city's commuters on their way home from work. ArtJamz will provide a 16 by 20 canvas, an easel and unlimited acrylic paints and brushes. 5:30 p.m. $30.

BSO SuperPops: The Beat Goes On! Conductor Jack Everly winds back the clock to the 1960's with hits from the Beach Boys, the Supremes, Burt Bacharach and Frankie Valli. Strathmore Music Center. 8 p.m.

Nick Waterhouse takes a bit of "old school sensibility" and "vintage R&B" to Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. With DJ Nite Krawler 8 p.m. $10/$12.
