Tonight: NoMa Summer Screen, The End of the World

Summer's arrival means outdoor films in grassy fields. NoMa Summer Screen: 2012: The End of the World? opens today with blockbuster films that have world-ending themes. The free, weekly, outdoor film series will run Wednesday evenings from now until August with music, giveaways and food trucks. The Day After Tomorrow, the 2004 science-fiction disaster film starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, and Emmy Rossum screens tonight at sundown. Loree Grand Field. Wedding season is upon us. In Leslye Headland's Bachelorette, three unhappy friends in their mid-twenties reunite to celebrate a former high school classmate's wedding.
