Indie-rocker Nate Martinez, a former Pela member drops his newest album under Thieving Irons this summer. The story of Behold, This Dreamer! began in a bookstore in Chicago and ruminates over the idea of ghosts and time. The track "Poison," "is all about memory and what you can never forget," writes CHARTattack. DC9. Kindlewood and Fire and the Wheel open. 8:30 p.m. $8.

Jamaican reggae musician Jimmy Cliff performs at 9:30 Club. 7 p.m. $40.
