A scorching hot day for Spanish hip-hop artist Mala Rodriguez. The award-winning singer who rose to fame in the 90's Seville hip hop scene has collaborated with Nelly Furtado and Romeo Santos. Her newest album Dirty Baillarina won her a Latin Grammy for "Best Urban Song," with the single "No Pidas Perdon." State Theatre. 8:30 p.m. $18/$22.

From Last Comic Standing Season 7 and Comedy Central, area-native Rachel Feinstein takes the stage at Riot Act Comedy Theater. 8 p.m. $12.
