ABC's "Good Morning America" has more on a 12-year-old Virginia girl who has been reported missing.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Brittany Mae Smith, of Salem, Va. Authorities believe Smith is with Jeffrey Scott Easley, who is reportedly an acquaintance of her mother's.

Smith's mother was found dead in her Roanoke County home.
