Were you supposed to report to jury duty at D.C. Superior Court on Thursday? Well aren't you a lucky duck.

Your service will not be needed this year, according to the court's website.

A notice posted online says the following:

***NOTE: The jury pool that was scheduled to report for service on Thursday, January 27, 2011 was excused due to inclement weather. Those jurors will not be summoned again for service in the Superior Court for approximately two years.

Looks like victory is yours, potential jurors. You can keep those "I have a business trip in California" excuses in your back pocket for next time.
