The Hoya reports that a first-year student has been arrested Tuesday evening for "possession with the intent to distribute marijuana." This is the second student arrest related to drugs in a week.
Reporters from the Hoya identified the student as Kelly Baltazar, who lives in Harbin Hall. They say an Metropolitan Police spokesperson told them the arrest happened after 7 p.m. at Georgetown University. A university spokesperson added that Baltazar was "in police custody and not on campus," according to The Hoya.
No word on whether this arrest is linked to the investigation into the DMT lab also found in Harbin Hall early Saturday morning.
