Clarendon Boulevard between North Rhodes Street and North Scott Street is expected to remain closed through rush hour and the later evening hours after a water main break earlier this afternoon. Crews are on the scene repairing the main right now, according to Arlington County.

Traffic is being detoured from Clarendon Boulevard onto North 16th Street, but drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes at this time. There is currently no estimate as to when the street will be reopened.
