Man found dead in Landover

Prince George’s County police are investigating a murder in Landover.

Police say 24-year-old James Edward Waters, of Bethesda, was found dead in a vehicle in the 1300 block of Nalley Terrace around 12:29 p.m. Sunday. Police say Waters was shot to death. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation revealed that this incident may have occurred on Saturday evening between the hours of 8p.m. to 10 p.m. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
