Metrobus and vehicle collide in Northeast, 7 injured

At least seven people were injured Tuesday when a Metrobus and a vehicle collided in the 4000 block of East Capitol Street, a D.C. Fire and EMS spokesperson said.

First responders evaluated 11 patients, of which seven were taken to area hospitals. None of the injuries appears to be serious, the spokesperson said.

Westbound traffic on East Capitol Street is being diverted, the D.C. Emergency Management Agency reports.
