One pedestrian killed, another critically hurt in hit-and-run crash in District Heights

UPDATE Thursday, Dec. 9, 8:45 a.m.: Prince George's County police have identified the woman fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in District Heights Wednesday.
Police say 28-year-old Krystal Diamond Brown and a 20-year-old male were hit by a car in the area of Walker Mill Road and Old Silver Hill Road. Officers found them both lying unconscious in the roadway. They were transported to a local hospital, where Brown was later pronounced dead. The other victim remains in critical but stable condition.
Police are looking for the driver of the striking vehicle, who was possibly in a 1990 Gold Honda Accord with significant front end damage.

UPDATE Wednesday, December 8 @ 6:55 p.m.: Prince George's County police say one victim, a 28-year-old woman, has died. The other victim, a 21-year-old man, remains in critical condition.
Investigators say the pair was crossing Walker Mill Road near County Road about 5:30 p.m. when they were struck.
Police are searching for a Honda Accord which was seen leaving the area.
UPDATE 6:40 p.m.: The victims were a man and a woman, who were in "extremely critical, life-threatening conditions", according to Prince George's County fire spokesperson Mark Brady.
ORIGINAL POST, 6:22 P.M.: Two pedestrians are in critical condition after they were struck by a vehicle in District Heights Wednesday evening, Prince George's County fire officials said.
The striking vehicle fled the scene, Prince George's County police said.
The pedestrians were hit about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Walker Mill Road and County Road.
Both were taken an area hospital in critical condition, officials said. No further information about the patients was immediately available.
