UPDATE 8:04 p.m.: Dominion Virginia Power reports 60,869 customers without service.

Pepco reported more than 93,000 outages across its service area. There were 18,388 outages in D.C., 68,149 customers without service in Montgomery County, and 6,140 in Prince George's County.

Power companies report that 9,257 customers are without power in Montgomery County, Md.

In Northern Virginia, 4,120 are out of power.
