Fire cancels Caps alumni charity game

A charity hockey game between the Washington Capitals alumni and public safety officers has been cancelled because of brush fires in the Laurel area.
The game was scheduled to be played at the Gardens Ice House on Old Gunpowder Road, but the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department was forced to cancel it for safety reasons, spokesperson Mark E. Brady said.
