Train hits car in Gaithersburg

A freight train struck a car in Gaithersburg, Md. Friday night after the car became disabled on the tracks.
No one was injured in the collision.
Montgomery County fire officials said the crash occurred at about 7:50 p.m. on the tracks on South Summit and East Diamond avenues.
All train travel in the area has come to a halt.
