Andrew Warren, ex-CIA official sentenced for sexual abuse

A former C.I.A. official was sentenced Thursday to 65 months in prison for sexually abusing a woman on U.S. embassy property in Algiers, Algeria.

Andrew Warren, 43, was also sentenced for unlawfully using cocaine while possessing a firearm in Norfolk.

Warren was sentenced in U.S. District Court for D.C.

During Warren’s plea hearing last year, he admitted that he had sexual contact with a woman after he rendered her immobile in February 2008 while on embassy property in Algiers.

He was working for the C.I.A. at the time of the incident.

Warren also admitted to using cocaine while possessing a Glock 9 mm.
