Police investigate hit-and-run accident in Southeast

D.C. police are investigating a hit-and-run accident in Southeast.
Police say an adult was hit by a vehicle around 6:19 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Firth Sterling and Suitland Parkway. The vehicle fled the scene.
D.C. Fire says the victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. No word on the victim’s condition.
