The sentencing of a man who murdered a Bowie teenager in 2005 was delayed until August on Friday morning.

McDonald Abraham III was originally scheduled to be sentenced on March 31, but the proceeding was delayed because the request for Abraham's court appearance had been faxed to the wrong prison.

Abraham pleaded guilty in January of murdering 17-year-old Stacey Seaton in June of 2005.
