Police were on the scene of a homicide Friday night that occurred on the 3300 block of 27th Avenue in Temple Hills. Patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found a male lying on the ground, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. A motive has not been determined at this time. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
