Suspicious vehicle briefly shuts down Pennsylvania Avenue

A suspicious vehicle shut down streets around the Reagan and Wilson buildings in Downtown Washington Thursday morning.

D.C. Fire & EMS officials responded to the area of 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue just before 10 a.m.

Authorities briefly shut down Pennsylvania Avenue between 13th and 15th Streets and 14th Street from Pennsylvania to Constitution.

The scene was cleared and streets were reopened about 45 minutes later.
