Rosslyn said goodbye to its old blue buses into D.C. yesterday as the Rosslyn Circulator made its maiden voyage across the river to Virginia. The new Dupont Circle to Rosslyn route was in full swing for commuters this morning.
The Circulator is picking up passengers in Rosslyn at a slightly different location than the blue bus did: the stop is still North 19th Street and North Moore Street but it's on the north side of that intersection, at the same location as the Georgetown University bus stop. A full list of stops with a map is here.
The switch made for a little confusion this morning, but most mix-ups were averted by a District Department of Transportation employee standing by the old bus stop and directing people to the Circulator.
Did anyone take the Circulator from Rosslyn this morning? Are you more likely to take the bus along that route now that you can use SmarTrip?
