Arlington crime report: Lots of stolen two-wheelers
Arlington's weekly crime report includes five incidents of stolen motorcycles or scooters, which can mean one of a couple of things. Either area thieves have been jonesing for an open-air ride in this gorgeous weather, or two-wheeled vehicles proved an easier target than vehicles this week.
Arlington police haven't determined whether the crimes are related at this point — a couple of them just occurred on Tuesday, as public information officer Det. Crystal Nosal points out. The thefts were fairly well spread out around the county, although three happened in relatively close proximity to each other, near South Four Mile Run Drive.
