It wasn't all wine and roses for one bride-to-be in Arlington last week, as her bridal shower (or bachelorette party?) turned into a bar fight in Clarendon on Saturday night. The fight occurred on the 3100 block of Clarendon Boulevard. According to police:

On November 6 at 11:30 pm, two women argued during a bridal shower at a bar. A glass bottle was thrown during the fight, and a bystander was struck in the face. Jazmine Geans, 25, of Lusby, MD, was charged with disorderly conduct. She was held on a $2,000 bond.

More crime reports in the form of some unconventional weaponry after the jump.

Two alleged criminals made use of some odd weapons in Arlington last week. First, one guy tried to hold up another with a corkscrew, to no avail, although he did end up arrested for attempted robbery.

That same night, on the 3000 block of Wilson Boulevard, an altercation escalated to a stabbing — with a butter knife.

On November 6 at 9:30 pm, a man in a restaurant was acting erratically, and stabbed another patron with a butter knife. The victim received a minor injury. Mario Tellez, 50, of Arlington, was charged with malicious wounding. He was held without bond.
