District Taco
The line at District Taco stretches around the store during lunch on its opening day.

Tacos anyone? From the line wrapping around the entire shop at District Taco's grand opening today, the answer seems to be yes. Forces collided — lots of people off work for Veteran's Day and DT's offer of buy one burrito, get a taco free — for a super-busy lunch rush at the new store this afternoon.

The store, at 5723 Lee Highway in Arlington, marks the establishment's first foray into having a permanent location. Until now, the bright yellow roving taco cart that bears its logo has been the only place to get its authentic Mexican tacos. (The cart, affectionately called El Torito by the shop's owners, is still in effect, however. It's down in Crystal City this afternoon.)

More photos after the jump.
