It may be a rainy Thursday, but TBD Night is still here to take you through the rest of your week. Send updates from where you're drinking, eating, or just avoiding the rain for happy hour tonight using the #TBDNight hash tag, to racooper@tbd.com, or by using the "Submit Tip" button on the TBD mobile app.

6:57 p.m.: Well we'll be signing off now, in order to head over to this super cool Housing Commission meeting, but keep those tweets coming under the #TBDNight hash tag, and gear up for another installment tomorrow, when the weather might be a little more cooperative.

6:43 p.m.: TBD's Heather Farrell reports that there's a lot of Virginia Tech fans at Hard Times in Clarendon (no shock there), apparently waiting for tonight's game to start. There's $1 off domestic drafts right now though, which means it appears they aren't sticking to the Bethesda location's math-tastic approach to specials.

6:29 p.m.: Wisdom on Capitol Hill has $6 glasses of sangria all night; if that's a deal, we're thinking it's a pretty top shelf sangria.

Over in Adam's Morgan, burgers are half price tonight at The Black Squirrel. if you can't head over, check out their Twitter feed, which is a night of entertainment unto itself.

6:13 p.m.: Photo dispatch from Phillips After 5 from Elahe Izadi. Looks like the weather didn't keep people away.

5:56 p.m.: 10 percent of all sales tonight at The Pug on H Street NE are going to a fund that benefits the family of fallen MPD officer Paul Dittamo, TBD's Sommer Mathis reports.

Over at Phillips After Five, the heat lamps are in effect and it's warm and toasty, according to Elahe Izadi. So don't worry about being cold if you're heading over that way.

5:42 p.m.: We've confirmed earlier scuttlebutt about the happy hour at Level One in Dupont. It is indeed $1 rails and $1 beers until 7 p.m. Travis, who answered the phone there, said that the specials keep going though: the same drinks are just $3 a pop from 7 to 9 p.m.

Also, more "research" has confirmed that the beer o' the month at Ragtime this month is Fordham Scotch Ale. We're pretty sure that's what it was last Friday too, but maybe they don't change it by the calendar month.

5:31 p.m.: This just in: Café Pizzaiolo in Crystal City has half price bottles of wine tonight until 9 p.m. At that rate, everyone can have their own bottle!

Hard Times in Bethesda is also offering 1/3 off appetizers and bottled beer until 7 p.m. No word yet on whether other area locations are following suit. Or why 1/3 off is the special.

5:23 p.m.: There's some pretty sweet specials going on over at Ceiba for happy hour, but you better high-tail it over there before 6 p.m., when happy hour ends. There are $5 specialty cocktails and half price bar food items. That means rock shrimp and crab nachos for $6 people. And the "hot lava stone queso fundido with chorizo for $6. But seriously, hurry.

5:10 p.m.: Billy Joel is on here at TBD Night HQ, otherwise known as Velocity Five sports bar in Courthouse. Yeah, yeah, we know about the awfulness of Billy Joel. But your host tonight has Long Island roots, and can't help herself.

In other Velocity Five news, specials tonight include half price draft beers, which include Smithwicks, Guinness, Stella and Sam Adams Winter Lager. There's also some kind of special on wine, but I forgot it because I was distracted by Billy Joel. Crowd is pretty thin and music isn't too loud, so it could be a good option to catch up with some friends in Arlington tonight.

4:55 p.m.: Two options for non-drinking-centric happy hour tonight. National Geographic tweets that they'lly have free jazz and gospel music at their headquarters (1145 17th Street N.W.) at 6 and 7:15 p.m. tonight.

Up in Montgomery County, Bethesda Green is hosting its First Thursday meetup at Louisiana Kitchen, 4907 Cordell Avenue in Bethesda. Cost is $10 at the door and there will be presentations from two nonprofits working to save wetlands along the Gulf Coast.

4:45 p.m.: Black Finn in D.C. is encouraging people to hit up a thirsty Thursday happy hour, which includes $3 Millers, $4 Amstels, and $5 wines.

Over at Ragtime in Arlington, the bar is rocking their usual happy hour of $2.50 Miller Lights, $5 wines, $3 rail drinks and $3 beers of the month. Last month's beer of the month was something seasonal, as we recall, but we'll try to find out what it is for November.

4:30 p.m.: We don't blame you for wanting a drink after this day. Luckily, TBD's got a few ideas, and we're sure you'll be tweeting up a storm with your suggestions. If fighting cold is your first priority, make sure to check out The List's bars with fireplaces, or maybe even see if you can get a bartender to spike a cup of hot apple cider.

The Big Hunt in Dupont Circle is also hosting an Ommegang Brewery happy hour tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., cosponsored by The Edge 105.9. There will be deals on the brewery's Abbey and Hennepin varieties, as well as giveaways. Get there early, as the 'Hunts tapping parties tend to fill up fast.

If that doesn't work out, Sign of the Whale in Dupont has all drinks half price from 4 to 7 p.m., and Town Tavern on 18th Street in Adams Morgan has $3 domestic bottles, as well as $4 rail drinks and $5 "build-a-burgers, 'til 7 p.m.

Over at Screwtop Wine Bar in Arlington, they're debuting three new French wine flights: a sparking flight for $16, a flight of three Alsatian whites for $16, and a taste of three grenache blends from the Cotes Du Rhone for $17.
