At the Lee Center shopping center — formerly occupied by such venerated establishments as the Royal Lee karaoke bar and Dan Kain Trophies — what was there as recently as last week is now gone.
Crews have made a big dent in demolishing the large shopping center on Pershing Drive just west of U.S. Route 50, which is slated for a large apartment complex being developed by Equity Residential.
Dan Kain Trophies moved out of the center late last year, and Eastern Carryout, the final food establishment in the end building that was holding on, has moved into a building across the street.
More photos, including a "before" shot, after the jump.
