This post has been updated to solicit suggestions for a new motto.

Rockville's new tagline is "Get Into It."

That's what she said?

Rockville Patch reports that the city council approved the new motto on Tuesday night as part of a $75,000 marketing campaign. That may seem like a lot of money to spend on marketing a city, but it's less than the $200,000 spent on branding some neighborhoods in D.C.

The alternative mottoes were "The World Class City That Feels Like Home" and "Find The Good Life In a Great City." Which motto makes you want to visit, work, or live in Rockville? Vote in our poll, or suggest your own in the comments section:

"Marylands HomeTown" : because Rockville is in a part of Maryland that had been settled for hundreds of years. "The City on the Golden Road". : because 355 has been economically important for hundreds of years, amd I believe the hunting path that followed the same route hundreds of years ago was called the Golden Road, or something.
