Arlingtonians narrowly avoided a rush hour nightmare this afternoon, after Dominion Virginia Power crews finished up work that was blocking all five lanes of the road between North 10th and North Kenmore Streets at around 3:30 p.m.
The crews were repairing a downed utility pole that was damaged after an accident earlier today, according to a report from ARLNow. The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m., and the road remained closed for most of the day.
