This being the most festive weekend in D.C. in recent memory, all bets are off on Metro for Saturday and Sunday. But if you're going to join the mob below ground, best to keep these disruptions in mind and minimize your wait.

• Red Line, between Shady Grove and Twinbrook. Trains will be single-tracking between these stations because of platform repairs going on at Rockville. Add a half-hour to your travel time from tonight at 8 p.m. through Sunday.

• Red Line, between New York Ave. and Rhode Island Ave. Trains will be single-tracking on this stretch due to track work. Add 20 minutes to your travel time from 10 p.m. tonight through Sunday.

• Orange Line, between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly. Single-tracking from 10 p.m. tonight through Sunday, due to some "ground stabilization" work at Cheverly. Add a half hour.

• Green Line, between Fort Totten and Prince George's Plaza. Due to track work, trains will be single-tracking from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Add 20 minutes.
