Chaos still reigns supreme at Rosslyn Metro faregates

So apparently there are still some technical difficulties with the Rosslyn Metro faregates. It was a hairy scene during yesterday afternoon's rush hour with many of them out of order, and it doesn't look much better right now.

Most of the faregates have tape or paper over the SmarTrip strips on either side. There was a technician there around 5 p.m. operating on one of them, and there were three Metro employees in yellow vests whose primary job, as far as I could tell, was to save riders from walking their groins smack into gates that refused to open.

It's all making for quite the rush-hour kabuki out there. Think this thing might be ironed out by the morning?
