Metro told us these things were complicated. They weren't kidding.

These two guys were working on the middle escalator at Metro Center at the 11th and G NW entrance this morning. Their workplace looked like a gearhead's basement. Lots of tools. Lots of grease. Lots of intricate-looking parts. A couple of guys working on a separate escalator on the lower level had removed every last step from the unit.

I think I'd rather rebuild a '66 Mustang.
