Not a bad weekend as far as Metro's concerned, unless you're looking to ride the Red Line into town. There are two stretches with track and platform work going on, and they should look familiar from recent weeks:

• More work on the Rockville platform is going to add delays of up to a half-hour on the Red Line between Shady Grove and Twinbrook. Trains will be single-tracking from 8 p.m. tonight through closing on Sunday.

• Due to some track work going on at the Rhode Island Avenue station, travelers should add fifteen minutes to their travel times if they're riding between the Rhode Island and Florida Avenue stations. Work starts tonight at 10 p.m. and goes through Sunday.
