DDOT announced today that it has secured funds to expand Capital Bikeshare by 20 stations and 200 bikes.
A DDOT release says the planning process for selecting locations for the new stations will be finished in the spring and installations could begin in May. Funding for the new stations is coming from a grant US DOT’s Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality program.
It's not clear how much the funding is worth, but we'll be back on this subject after the break.
