Whether you’re preparing the big Thanksgiving Day feast, attending a Turkey Day potluck, or planning on dining out, we’ve got all the resources you need to ease any stress this year.

Where to buy Thanksgiving takeout

If you’re hosting Thanksgiving this year, but can’t cook or don’t have the time to, there are plenty of places where you can buy your entire Thanksgiving meal.

Balducci’s (Locations in Bethesda, Alexandria and McLean)
The gourmet “food lover’s market” offers custom dinners that serve six to eight people. Prices range from $130.00 to $140.00. Customers can also order items separately. If you want to taste some of the items, the market will have sampling hours until Sunday, Nov. 21. See here for sampling schedule. Delivery is not available the week of Nov. 22 to Nov. 25 and pickups must take place before 2 p.m. on Nov. 25.

Dean and Deluca (3276 M St. NW; 202-342-2500)
The specialty food, wine, and kitchenware shop offers a variety of options for turkeys, sides, and desserts.

• Fairmont Hotel (2401 M St., NW; 202-429-2400)
The hotel offers a Thanksgiving dinner package that serves 10 people for $260.00. Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 22.

Fyve Restaurant (1250 South Hayes St., Arlington; 703-415-5000)
The contemporary-American restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton offers a Thanksgiving dinner package that serves six people for $225.00. Orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 19.

• La Madeleine (Multiple locations in D.C., Maryland, Virginia)
The French bakery and café offers a Turkey Holiday Feast for four to six people ($64.99), eight to ten people ($94.99), and 12-14 people ($149.99). Thanksgiving orders must be made by Sunday, Nov. 21.

Maggiano’s (Locations in Chevy Chase and McLean)
The Italian-American restaurant offers a Thanksgiving dinner package that serves about 5 people for $175.00. Pick-up orders must be made by Nov. 19.

Rocklands (Multiple locations in D.C., Maryland, Virginia)
The barbecue and grilling company offers a variety of turkeys, sides, and desserts separately. Customers can also choose non-traditional Thanksgiving items such as grilled marinated gulf shrimp ($25.99 per pound) and crab and artichoke dip ($74.00 per quart). Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 22.

Tuscarora Mill (203 Harrison St., SE, Leesburg; 703-771-9300)
The Leesburg restaurant and bakery offers a Thanksgiving dinner for six ($145.00) and a Thanksgiving dinner for 12 ($275.00). Customers can also order wine and additional sides a la carte.

• Whole Foods Market (Multiple locations in D.C. Maryland, Virginia)
The market offers a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for eight ($129.99), a Southern Thanksgiving dinner for eight ($129.99), and dinner for two, plus a few ($59.99). Customers can also order turkeys (fresh, oven-ready, or cooked), sides, and party platters separately. Thanksgiving vegan options are also available.

• Zola Wine and Kitchen (505 9th St. NW; 202-639-9463)
 The wine shop and cooking school offers an oven-roasted turkey dinner that serves six to eight people ($129.00) and an herb-roasted turkey dinner that serves six to eight people ($149.00). Customers can also order starters, sides, and turkeys separately. Orders must be by placed by Monday, Nov. 22.

Volunteer on Thanksgiving

Here are some volunteer opportunities if you have a few hours during the week of Thanksgiving or on the day itself.

Bread for the City, an organization that provides those in need with comprehensive services, such as food, shelter, medical care, and legal services, is looking for volunteers and donations for their Holiday Helpings program.

• Community for Creative Non-Violence, an organization that provides basic essentials to those who are homeless or poor, is looking for volunteers to help out at their annual Thanksgiving Day dinner.

• Food & Friends, an organization that serves those with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life challenging illnesses, is looking for volunteers Nov. 22 to Nov. 25. Opportunities include food preparation, meal assembly, and holiday meal deliveries.

Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry, a nonprofit agency that provides services to those living with HIV/AIDS, is looking for volunteers to help delivery Thanksgiving food baskets to families affected with HIV/AIDS. Food baskets will be distributed from the NOVAM offices in Falls Church and delivered to 3-4 families living in Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, or Woodbridge.

Thanksgiving Together, an annual holiday dinner hosted by Purcellville area churches and businesses, is looking for volunteers to help out on Thanksgiving Day. Opportunities include helping out with the dinner and delivering meals to those unable to attend.

Valuable Blessings, a Prince George’s County-based organization that promotes higher education in the community, is looking for volunteers for their second annual Community Thanksgiving Banquet.

• YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is looking for volunteers to help out with their 28th annual Turkey Chase. Opportunities include preparing, setting up, working the events, and cleaning up.
