Clay Dunn and Zach Patton are the co-creators of TheBittenWord.com, a blog they launched in 2008 in response to their growing stack of unread food magazines. The idea? To cook at least one recipe from each of the food magazines to which they subscribe. On the blog, they showcase their results -- the hits and misses -- as well as their own recipes.

In 2009, the Bitten Word was named by the Times of London as "one of the world's 50 best food blogs" and has been featured in publications such as the Washington Post and Washingtonian.

Dunn and Patton live and cook in Washington, D.C. When they're not blogging, Patton is a journalist and Dunn works for an anti-hunger nonprofit.
