Responding to Jay Cutler's take that he would throw DeAngelo Hall's way every time all over again, the Redskins cornerback said in an interview with the NFL Network on Monday, "If I could play against Jay Cutler every week, I'd be in the Hall of Fame."

It turns out Hall will have a place in Canton even if he doesn't face the Chicago Bears' quarterback ever again.

Because he intercepted Cutler four times on Sunday to tie an NFL record, Hall will have his jersey displayed at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Hall reported the news on his twitter account this morning, "Just got word Canton came and picked up my jersey from the Chicago Game...not sure what to even say to that."

A member of the Redskins' PR staff confirmed the account, and said that Hall will be honored at Redskins Park on Wednesday in regards to being recognized by the Hall of Fame for becoming only the 19th player in NFL history to record four interceptions in one game.

Hall couldn't be reached for comment earlier today.

On Sunday, immediately after the game, Hall was still in shock as his performance -- including a 92-yard interception returned for a touchdown -- won the game for the Redskins.

"I still haven’t processed it," he said. "I’ve never had more than two picks in a game, and six in a season. It’s kinda mind-blowing,” Hall said. “I had my mom, my aunt and my cousin in the stands and the first ball went to my mom, second one went to my aunt, and next thing you know, everybody had a ball. Coach Shanahan gave me the ball at the end of the game, and I had to give it to [defensive coordinator Jim Haslett]. Coach 'Has' had a great game-plan, and he tried to give it back, and I said, ‘I already have enough balls. Just keep it up. Keep calling great game plans.’”
