Say This:

First of all, no one wants to hear that they are aging. I think that if his driving is endangering him or anyone else that the keys should be taken now. I dont think He would be upset if you just tell him of all the dangers of what could happen to him or another driver and their passengers.Maybe he has not realized what could happen with his declining driving skills,or maybe he does not realize that his driving skills are declining. You need to talk with him yourself or with other siblings, if you have them. But, it is all in the delivery of how you present the subject.

so just remember Be Kind. They say old people are like little children again. So talk to him like you would your own children.Hope I could help.
