Do's and Don'ts:

Before you tell a doctor anything about your drug use, insist that it not be written into your chart, that it's off the record. Medical records are much less secure than the health care industry would like us to believe. If you don't want the world to know about your current drug use, make sure nothing goes into your chart.

Be honest. To get good medical care, your doctor should know about things like your current drug use.

Say This:

I sometimes smoke marijuana.
