I was fired from my last job. What should I say in a job interview?

Say This:

You were fired. Tell them why, what you learned from it, why that makes you a better person and why it makes you perfect for their company.

it depends on why you were fired. there are a lot of legitimate resons to be let go. some of the most successful people in business have been fired. assuming you didn't break any laws, figure out how you can turn this negative to a positive. Accentuate your accomplishments etc. Fired or not a company will hire you if you bring a skill they need.

Well let's see. I was fired from my only permanent job I worked many years to get. My gay boss began harassing me the first week he started working there. His MySpace portfolio proves I was not lieing when I said he was gay. He did not like me from day one and made sure everyone knew it. After another 2 years of harassment, and manipulating other's to do the same, he finally setup a way to fire me. I don't have any idea what to tell anyone on why he fired me. What did I learn? I do not know how to politically please a boss, or anyone who tries to boss over me with negative intentions. I learned that in order to survive I have to be stronger in handling life on my own. It is easier to work on my own challenges, than to figure out how to please a boss.
