DC Jobs With Justice's Ruth Castel-Branco has issued a call to action to support the nurses of Washington Hospital Center (WHC). According to Castel-Branco, WHC nurses recently voted to go out on a one-day Unfair Labor Practice strike over the firing of 18 nurses and the discipline and threats given to others during the February snowstorms.

CVS no longer open 24 hours
This might be old news, but I just noticed it: the CVS at 14th and Irving is no longer open 24 hours a day. They're still open to midnight every day, which is good, but just in case you needed to run over to get something at 3 am, better head to Dupont for their 24-hour one. As you can see here, the "Open 24 Hours" sign is covered up.
