spiritstrider,
The 4 quadrant approach has been under development since the late 80's by an American philosopher who has almost 30 books in 57 languages. *www.kenwilber.com
This 4 quadrant approach is NOT an alternative theory, but an additional one. It includes Tolle's aspect, and many, many others, that is what makes it so comprehensive.
My passion stems from the fact that those who are trying to get away from suffering with the Tolle suggestions are making their pain, hence the pain of humanity, hence my pain worse! So selfish of me eh... :)
Warmly,
Mick.
